Sweeney Todd - Bloody. Surprisingly, it was almost too much of a musical for me. There's a ton of singing...though most of it is pretty decent. The movie itself is funny/gruesome. Throat slashing cannibalism for all!

Juno - If you can get passed the "I'm too smart for my age" wisecracking hipness, this is a good movie. It's about a teenage girl who gets pregnant and decides to give it up for adoption. It's a little different from most teen movies. That's all I can say.

Deja Vu - I actually really liked this movie. If you don't over think the movie and its crazy plot, you can enjoy it too.

There are many others that I can't think of right now.

I really liked National Treasure. I own it (you can borrow it!) I haven't seen the second one because it seemed even more unrealistic than the first. I would like to though.

Sara and I watched Christmas Story at least 5 times in a row on Christmas Eve. TNT (I think) was having a "24 Hours of Christmas Story" marathon where they kept repeating the movie over and over. We watched it while we wrapped presents and cleaned up for "Santa". At some point it started blending together and weren't sure if we were watching it for the 3rd or the 5th time. You'd think you could get sick of it after watching it sequentially that many times, but we didn't. Still a classic!

We also watched Surf's Up and Underdog (the one with Jason Lee). Both were surprisingly good. Surf's Up was the same failsafe formula used for a lot of animated features. It was basically "Cars" all over again, this time with Penguins. There was a lot of undertones, innuendos and one-liners that made this one entertaining enough for adults to watch (I much preferred it over cars).

Underdog was surprisingly great! Jason Lee did a great job with his voice acting and the CGI enhanced film was stitched together seemlessly. And they had a midget as the evil scientist bad guy! How awesome is that?! My boy also loved the show. He watched it at least 3-4 times.

The Pacifier: yeah don't bother. Tough guy changing diapers might win over his female fan-base, but I don't buy it for one second. Bring back fucking Riddick already!
