It’s a little after 10:30 on Tuesday evening and I’m tapping my foot like crazy. I just edited (for the 10th time) a blog post that’s scheduled to publish tomorrow morning at 9am. Why isn’t it tomorrow yet?!?
Tom Petty said it best, “The waiting is the hardest part”
This post is 2+ years in the making. So what’s the post, you ask? It’s the first episode of a new project I’m starting called the Hawk Talk Podcast.
I’m a huge fan of podcasting. I had a short-lived podcast a few years back and I’ve been itching to get back in to it. Tomorrow, my wait is over.
I think podcasting is an amazing format that is growing like crazy but is still in its infancy. There are so many great podcasts out there to listen to, it actually makes me a little sad that I don’t have a drive to work where I would be able to listen to more of them.
There are so many great articles written about how to get started with podcasting. If you are interested in getting started yourself, be sure to check out How to start a podcast using WordPress and The Podcast Method. Both were very helpful. I’m still a complete n00b myself, but I figure the only way to get better is to dive in and get started!
When starting a new project, it’s always good to have goals. For me, this project is no different. This project has two very specific goals.
- Have Fun
But for the moment, it’s now 10:55pm. I have to wait a little longer.
I hate waiting.
